After two fulfilling decades in marketing and business, I found myself at a crossroads. I could continue along the same path — bringing the best of the world to India — or answer the growing thirst to build something deeply personal.

Leaving the cocoon of stability wasn’t easy. I spent days in doubt and months brainstorming. Every work trip, every vacation turned into a research journey.

And then, one day, I just knew — it was time to make a U-turn on everything I had pursued in my corporate life.

I would bring the best of India to the world.

How did I know?

Because like most Indians, I find inspiration in life’s simplest joys:

Home is warmth. Clothes are celebratory. Accessories and objets d’art reflect who we are — each with a story to tell. Life is rich, earthy, and deeply rooted.

This fullness, this fire — it refused to stay within.

Earth&Oak began with a simple belief—that the things we live with every day should feel warm, honest, and thoughtfully made. In a world of fast choices and fleeting trends, we wanted to return to the essence of craft: time, human touch, and materials that age beautifully.

Our beginnings were shaped by conversations with artisans, a deep respect for traditional weaving, and a desire to reinterpret heritage through a modern lens. Each design started as an idea rooted in nature, texture, and lived-in comfort—never rushed, never loud.

Because beginnings aren’t about perfection. They’re about intention.
